When using kitchen towels for multiple purposes, using one of the suggestions below will make it easy to remember which towel to use for dishes and which for hands.

Option 1: Use a terry towel for hands and a simple cotton towel for dishes and other cleaning purposes.

Option 2: Use different colors to distinguish the use of the towels.

I also like to have plenty of kitchen towels on hand to eliminate the need for paper towels and to allow for frequent washing of the towels.
