For 2019, it begins on Tuesday, February 5 and celebrations last for as long as two weeks. 2019 marks the Year of the Pig (taken from the Chinese zodiac). Those born in 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, and 2019 have a beautiful personality and are blessed with good fortune.
At the Chinese New Year it is traditional to do a rigorous cleaning and decluttering to clear out old energies to make room for new ones.
Pigs are diligent, compassionate, and generous. They have great concentration: once they set a goal, they will devote all their energy to achieving it. General speaking, Pigs are relatively calm when facing trouble. No matter how difficult the problems are Pigs encounter, they can handle things properly and carefully.
